The wars in Ukraine and the Middle East have demonstrated a fundamental transformation of the modern battlefield. Mass drone operations, precision strikes, long-range missile attacks, electronic warfare, cyber-enabled infrastructure disruption are no longer theoretical scenarios - they are features of today's conflicts. Against this background, technological projects that deliver effectiveness in the new operational environment, from counter-drone systems and electronic warfare resilience to AI-enabled situational awareness and cyber defence are of critical importance.

This workshop aims at connecting defence-tech companies, research institutions, and policy actors across Germany, Ukraine and the Middle East. By integrating intersectoral expertise and experience, the workshop intends to establish a shared agenda of needs and capabilities, identify the most promising areas for joint cooperation among the partners, and lay the groundwork for a practical pathway toward implementation.
