The European Union’s role as an international crisis manager and security provider is coming under increasing pressure amid geopolitical rivalry, strained transatlantic relations, and the erosion of multilateralism. The workshop examines whether and how the EU can adapt its crisis management, peacebuilding, and security policies to a more conflict-ridden international order while bridging the gap between strategic ambitions and operational capabilities.
